I am very excited to announce that on April 15, 2019 I will be running the Boston Marathon to support Mass General Pediatric Oncology. I am asking for your support to reach my goal of $10,000. Last year I raised over $11,000 thanks to the many charitable donations! Your contribution will be directed to cancer care, research, and initiatives that enhance the quality of life for the hospital’s youngest cancer patients.
Thanks in large part to the philanthropic dollars raised by this Marathon Team, MassGeneral Hospital for Children (MGHfC) is advancing cutting-edge research, increasing the number of clinical studies to improve cure rates, and providing the best treatment possible to pediatric cancer patients. MGHfC is also focused on the quality of life of its young patients and their families through the child life program, which utilizes therapeutic play - music and art therapy to help pediatric cancer patients and their families cope emotionally and developmentally with their illnesses.
In the coming months, weeks, and days leading up to April 15, 2019, I will be training harder than ever to reach one of my goals of rounding the corner of Hereford and Boylston and crossing the finish line. Please help me reaching my other goal of supporting this amazing team and raising money for Fighting Kids’ Cancer, One Step at a Time!
