MRF was established in 2006 to help the 1 billion people who suffer from migraine, an enormous public health problem that burdens society, business, families, and, most importantly, individual sufferers.
Despite its vast prevalence and major impact, migraine is still largely undiagnosed, widely under-treated, and research is severely underfunded. Research is critical to understanding migraine so that new treatments can be found and old treatments can be improved. Without significant funding available, breakthroughs in treatment will not be discovered.
MRF was founded to respond to this lack of funding.
We’ve funded more than $3.75 million in grants to 72 researchers in 11 countries. We fund new ideas and support research no one else will.
Help support the fight agaisnt migraine!
