Muskegon Civic Theatre was incorporated in October of 1985 as a consolidation of the former Port City Playhouse, Civic Opera Association, and Muskegon Youth Theater. Muskegon Civic Theatre is a 501 (c) 3, nonprofit, full-time, ongoing, community-based theater organization in the greater Muskegon area with local support and resident participation. Our mission is to provide quality community theatrical experiences by and for adults and children through a variety of local productions and educational opportunities in all elements of theater throughout Muskegon and adjacent communities As a member of the arts community in Muskegon, Muskegon Civic Theatre has the important tasks of being a representation of our community and to participate in the growth of it. Your participation, attendance, and support give MCT the opportunity to build our community by bringing people together for common goals: telling a story, making you think, and to entertain through our productions, programs, and projects. You are Muskegon Civic Theatre. We thank you for your generous support of Muskegon Civic Theatre. Whether through a monetary or other donation, patronizing a production or enrollment in our theatre arts classes; we are asking that you help us be able to continue our work and growth in providing quality community theatrical experiences by and for adults and children through a variety of local productions and educational opportunities in all elements of theatre.
