I know--that is a VERY general statement--I am actually hoping to get some funds to help TransformAsia purchase a few new vehicles for their Joy Day Center, David Center, and also for the team vehicle that is so important to teams that travel around the country.
The centers all do such amazing work, and without the vehicles their work stops or is not as effective as it should be.
For the Joy Day Care that would mean the children who call the city dump their home wouldn't have the safety of being at our center five days a week. At this center, not only are they not near the dump and breathing clean air-they are bathed, eat really nutrious food, their clothes are clean, and they learn a little bit to set them up to possibly going onto to school.
The David Center needs their vehicle to help with getting the children in the orphanage safely to school. They travel back and forth to school about four times a day since they have AM and PM classes and return to the center for lunch. They also need a reliable vehicle for transporting the staff to the village market.
The taxes that TransformAsia has to pay for old cars is high. The cost to repair these vehicles is higher. And there is a lack of mechanics for vehicles in the country.
So please consider helping us reach a small goal to ultimately reach a high goal. Thank you!
