Mission: Advance NM business objectives by advocating for and promoting veteran initiatives and serving as a liaison between NM and the military community.

USO Wisconsin, Inc. is a statewide organization keeping currently serving military and their families connected. USO volunteers have been providing support since 1941 and in 1984, USO Wisconsin was incorporated as a charter organization of USO Inc. based in Arlington. We have centers and programs that help strengthen family bonds and relieve stress.

USO Wisconsin Centers
Military Entrance Processing Station (MEPS): Annually, we support 10,000 recruits and their families who are dealing with the process of joining the military.
Milwaukee Airport: Annually, we support 9,000 service members and their families in transit, deployments, welcome homes, and dignified transfers.
La Crosse Airport: Annually, we support 6,000 service members who arrive to go to Fort McCoy or other military installations.
Fort McCoy: Annually, we support 37,000 service members offering Wi-Fi, phones for calling home, stress relieving activities and comfort foods. We provide programs in the training area: movie night, root beer floats, and competitive tournaments. We hold events for the families around the holidays and other family bonding activities like our STEM night.

Mobile Unit Truck: Allows us to bring Wi-Fi, snacks and games to military in more remote areas of the state, at the La Crosse Airport and on base at Fort McCoy.
USO Wisconsin Programs
United Through Reading: USO gives book and video of deployed parent reading it to their children. Father/Daughter Dance: Fathers reconnecting with daughters and making cherished memories with music, snacks and other activities.
Operation Baby Shower: Lunch for military moms who don’t have extended family nearby to host baby shower. Prizes and bag full of items (diapers, clothes, etc.)
Operation Christmas: Annually we have 400 guests. Military families in need can pick out presents, children make stockings for those in need, and everyone ate and visited with Santa.

Easter Eggstraganza: Annually we have 200 guests. Easter egg hunt, crafts, games, and prizes.
Brewers Military Appreciation Game: 5,000 guests annually. We hand out tickets to military and their families before a Brewers game.
Admirals Military Appreciation Game: Annually we have 2,000 guests. We hand out tickets to military and their families for a hockey game.
Unit Family Days: Volunteers help cook food and bring games for family bonding activities that the unit holds in summer or around the holidays.
