Help veterans, adults and children with disabilities regain the freedom to live life by donating to Operation Freedom Paws!
OFP trains the individual to train a service dog for their specific needs, and then certifies them together as a service dog team in a 48-week program. Most of the dogs come from rescue shelters. This unique opportunity enables our clients to feel safe and secure, and to manage their day-to-day lives. The very special therapeutic canine-human relationship helps them get back out in their communities and begin to view their future with renewed hope.
There is no charge for the training, client services or cost of care for the service dog while they are an active client in the program, we simply require a 48-week commitment from the individual. Once graduated from our program ownership and cost of care for the dog is transferred to the individual.
