I've heard my own personal 'Field of Dreams' voice three times:
The first time was when it told me to move to Chicago.
The second time was when it told me I couldn't keep drinking.
And the third time was when it told me I had to run the Chicago Marathon on my birthday this year.
Since the voice told me this AFTER regular registration had closed, I have to fundraise my way to the starting line. Choosing a charity was easy: I will be raising funds for Special Olympics on behalf of my agency's SO team: SEARCH SQUAD, woot woot!
I LITERALLY can't do this without your help. I can always use emotional cheerleaders (moreso than I even care to admit), and I could really REALLY use some donations for the cause.
Thanks so much for taking the time to donate to my beautiful cause! It truly means the world to me.
Should donors wish to make a donation via check, those contributions can be sent to us and we will credit to your page. Please make sure to include somewhere in the memo section or on a note that you are supporting "Old Single Mom"
