Operation Kindness is the original and largest no-kill animal shelter in North Texas. Since our founding in 1976 Operation Kindness has saved the lives of more than 100,000 homeless animals that would have been euthanized. We never turn an animal away because of the cost for medical care, and we take pride in our ability to treat and rehabilitate any dog or cat and give them the opportunity to experience a good quality of life. Because of our full-service animal hospital, Operation Kindness daily serves as the “go to” facility for 47 municipal shelters and rescue groups who have run out of space or have animals in need of medical services. Our donors’ generosity saves lives! The old minivan we use to rescue homeless animals and transport them to our campus has crashed and burned. We desperately need a new one so we can save animals and help give them a second chance at life. Your gift will help us buy that new van.
