Overdose Lifeline, Inc. (ODL) is a statewide Indiana nonprofit dedicated to helping individuals, families, and communities affected by the disease of addiction / substance use disorder through advocacy, education, harm reduction, prevention, resources, and support.
The organization has been on the front-lines of the opioid epidemic since 2014. In three short years, Overdose Lifeline has:
Developed the only youth awareness prevention program to address the dangers of opioids, now used in 16+ U.S. states by more than 200 delivery partners.
Worked with lawmakers allowing for over-the-counter Naloxone access. Trained and distributed over 15,000 Naloxone kits to first responders and the public across 70+ Indiana counties.
The first organization in the U.S. to be trained to deliver an evidence-based personality-targeted approach to adolescent substance use prevention piloting in IN.
Developed effective, evidence-informed training courses. Results in the same level of knowledge among stakeholders and improves cross-channel collaboration and results.
