Join us on November 4th for a Party to Pull Together to raise funds to replace our old boats. We need two new, good quality racing shells to allow our Masters and Youth racing programs to continue their success. All of our club members will have access to the new shells for a better rowing experience. So help us pull together and keep moving forward!
Since our founding in 1983 at the base of Maple Avenue in Red Bank, Navesink River Rowing (NRR), a community-based, Federally recognized 501(c)(3) rowing club, we've had headline-making accomplishments!
We've taught over one thousand high schoolers to row and race---some have gone on to rowing careers in colleges such as Dartmouth, Cal, Princeton, Navy and even the US National Rowing Team.
We've taught hundreds of beginners of all age groups, from age 14 to 80, how to row and enjoy the Navesink River from a rowing shell.
We provide access to the water for both recreational and competitive Masters rowers, including some who have won on the US National level.
We created and continue the Reach Out and Row (ROAR) program, teaching rowing to area youth who might not otherwise have access to rowing. Since its inception in 2008 over 60 rowers have participated in the ROAR program.
The club continues to be one of the lowest cost programs in the state. We keep the cost as low as possible in order to provide access to the sport to as many participants as possible.
Join us on November 4th for cocktails, raffles and comraderie as we Party to Pull Together to keep our equipment in top shape.
