Patty, my wife of 29 years, suffered a massive heart attack (viral induced cardiomyopathy) at age 48 in 2008. As a result she suffered moderate to severe brain damage. She is non-ambulatory, incontinent and feed by tube. I am her full-time caregiver and now retired. My time is spent primarily with her care and I work out of the house as a volunteer in our non-profit community water company as a Director and Vice President. We are in need of a newer vehicle to transport her to medical appointments, etc. We also were in the midst of building our home (started in 2006), which had to be left inactive for two to three years when this happened. We had ended up having to move into the house in 2015, still unfinished to keep the home and project going, but now are faced with having to complete it to the point of passing the final inspection. We need to get the home finished (get final) and a good used vehicle for transporting her. Having to care for my wife, trying to get her in the vehicle I have (which I need to keep for other work) and doing as much work on the house myself as I can is taking a toll on me.
