PAWS is a non-profit animal welfare organization based in Wakefield, Massachusetts. For the last 35 years, we’ve worked closely with the community to rescue thousands of abandoned and stray animals, providing much-needed medical care, food, and foster homes. Our all-volunteer staff works tirelessly to give these animals a second—and sometimes, even a third or fourth—chance at finding the love and security of a permanent home. In addition, PAWS responds to hundreds of phone calls and emails each week, helping to address a variety of animal-related issues.
PAWS receives no local, state, or federal funding, and relies completely on fundraising efforts and donations from our supporters.
PAWS is excited to be participating in the 2018 Saving Pets Challenge! We’re aiming to raise $35,000—a thousand dollars for each year PAWS has served the community, and about half of our annual medical expenses. With your help, PAWS is making an impact on the lives of our local animals in need, and we are sincerely grateful. Thank you for your generosity!
