Questions are the foundation of my life. I want to be a sincere, well-rounded entrepreneurial leader, not by providing answers, but by fostering curiosity, creativity and inquisitiveness. I am not a passive recipient of aid – but I play a dynamic role in shaping the content and direction of my life.
On January 7th 2019, I took a leap of faith and came to 42 U.S to create a path that I hope will someday put me in a better possition for opportunities. But, it was a miscalculated move because I used a ticket that was old to come to the U.S. I got to the airpot and I was informed that it has expired after 365 days . That's the same ticket I was suppose to use to fly back home. It was my first, only and last way back. Now I'm stuck in the U.S. with no money, and a way to make some. This sucks, especially with the fact that I can't even offically work because of my B1/B2 visa which is also ending in 19 days.
I would love to go home, reboot, get a job, re-plan, then come back and start 42 with rejuvination and better plans to cover living expenses, longer visa and most importantly getting back home after the terms of my stay end.
This amount will cover a ticket with Qatar Airways-$1200
to Johannesburg, South Africa. I have lived to help other people with the knowledge I get. While pennyless, I started an NGO called Dropinsea Check: http://dropinsea.org/ to help my community get water access. This is the one time I find myself stuck helpless with no plan.
My story: I'm a young who grew up in Kamhlushwa, South Africa. I grew up LOVING Celine Dion (awesome, right?). Secondly, my family abandoned me at a young age, so I basically raised himself. I’ve transformed from a normal mischievous teenager to an incredibly mature and driven young man. Looking back on my trying childhood, I fully understands how 42 is one of my chances to provide a future for myself. If I don't make it happen , I have no where to go and no one to support me. I'm fully up for this challenge and chance at life. But…. There’s hurdles like this to overcome before going forward. Help me work to get well deserved chances. Early on I was abandoned, but if you join me today, you can show me there are people out there who believe in something and want to see me succeed!
Any amount you could pledge would make me get closer home. Thank you for your consideration and thoughtfulness!
Lots of love,
