Preferred Behavioral Health Group (PBHG) is one of the largest non-profit organizations providing mental health, addiction, and behavioral health services for 11 counties in central New Jersey. With the help of our supporters, we are able to service more individuals that are in need while at the same time increase awareness and reduce stigma surrounding mental health and substance use.
PBHG provided services for over 27,000 children, teens, adults, and senior citizens in 2017. Our staff includes psychiatric prescribers, clinical social workers, professional counselors, substance abuse counselors, interns, case managers, nurses, consulting pharmacists, and psychologists.
PBGH provides community and family support through education, prevention, counseling, therapy, treatment, and crisis support. PBGH program areas include mental health, substance abuse, crisis intervention, residential services, employment support, educational support, integrated case management, and prevention programming.
PBHG is consistently seeking resources to best support the people we treat as well as expand and enhance our programs.
