After running my first marathon in Big Sur when I turned 39, I have set my sites on running Boston. I thought doing it when I was 45 would be a great milestone.... and as a new Executive Director of a non - profit this opportunity gives me the chance to push myself in ways physically that mirror the emotional and mental push of my new role.
I'm a charity runner for Project Hope, a non - profit that is near and dear to my heart and right in the heart of Roxbury. The work of Project Hope supporting women and children with housing, education and employment is a model which demonstrates the importance of full person/ centered approach and community - engaged support.
Join me in supporting my Project Hope by donating today.
I'm thrilled (and terrified) to push myself this far in support of this amazing organization and the families they serve.
