Next Saturday I'm running in the Prospect Park 10K benefit race for CAMBA. CAMBA is a NYC nonprofit that provides services that connect people with opportunities to enhance their quality of life. Some of these services include affordable housing preservation, counseling for victims of crimes, after school and summer camp programs, homeless shelters, and job opportunities. You can learn more about CAMBA's work here: www.camba.org/
To build momentum for the race, I'm hoping to raise at least $250 for CAMBA, which is why I'm reaching out to you. If you are able and willing to donate, your money could go a long way for a New Yorker in need. If a monetary donation is not feasible for you right now, I'm also collecting women's clothes/shoes/toiletries for my local women's shelter, which is operated by CAMBA, and I'd love to take anything you don't need off your hands.
