IRONMAN World Championship athletes embody dedication, courage and the IRONMAN mantra that ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE.® On October 13th, over 2,000 athletes will embark on a 140.6-mile journey that presents the ultimate test of body, mind and spirit to earn the title of IRONMAN. To honor the vision of IRONMAN co-founders, John and Judy Collins, IRONMAN remains committed to providing athletes of all abilities a means of entry to the world’s most challenging and prestigious one-day endurance event.
This spring, the IRONMAN Foundation will hold its annual IRONMAN Foundation Kona Drawing, giving 10 athletes the chance to toe the start line at the 2018 IRONMAN World Championship with a suggested donation of $50. Donations benefit the IRONMAN Foundation’s charitable giveback in our race communities around the world and are 100% tax deductible.
The IRONMAN Foundation® engages the IRONMAN community in programs that demonstrate service through sport and commitment to community. We’re always thinking about the families and organizations that make each race community vibrant and unique. We know what gets them out of bed in the morning and what keeps them up at night and we’re working to make their lives better. WE are the IRONMAN Foundation and we swim, bike and run to create positive tangible change in race communities through grant funding and volunteerism. We #RaceForMore. Will you?
