As you may know, I am a volunteer counselor for Camp RapA-Hope,
a nonprofit organization located in Mobile, Alabama dedicated to providing fun for
children with cancer.
Camp Rap-A-Hope offers a week-long summer camp, sibling and teen weekends, deep sea
fishing trip, and family fun day for children between the ages of 7-17 who have, or have
ever had cancer and their families. All programs are provided free of charge, because
cancer has been costly enough.
The purpose of Bring Home the Bacon is to raise funds to provide children with cancer an
entire week of summer camp. Nearly 100 children along the Gulf Coast look forward to
Camp Rap-A-Hope’s summer camp and other programs each year and this fundraiser
ensures we are able to meet their medical as well as emotional needs.
This summer, I will be participating in the Bring Home the Bacon Race.
Please consider sponsoring me for the Bring Home the Bacon Race. My goal is to raise $200
to help children with cancer attend a free summer camp.
