In 2015 we hired a consultant to survey our 1928 theatre's back wall to recommend the best weatherproofing method. Water has been seeping in during rainstorms (and it rains a lot here in the PNW) to the point that it is damaging the stage, some performers have had to place buckets on stage, and well, it just needs to be done to save our amazing historic atmospheric theatre. The consultant recommended a rain shield and reroofing the fly loft. We have raised close to the $300,000 needed. Fast forward to today, and the project, which is underway, has run over budget by $20,000, due to increased costs and unexpected repairs.
