Rapid Ohia Death is a disease, new to science, eating away at the heart of Hawaii and its keystone species, Ohia. Hundreds of thousands of trees are dead, and while the disease continues to spread, scientists are racing to find answers, working with conservationists and residents to preserve the unique ecosystem and way of life in Hawaii. CLUB SULLIVAN TV completed the production of the short film Saving Ohia -- Hawaii's Sacred Tree with the goal of raising awareness and empowering residents and tourists alike to get involved to help mitigate the issue. As the story evolves, CLUB SULLIVAN is eager to continue production and create an updated, feature-length film that dives deeper into the issue, potential consequences, and possible solutions. Thank you for supporting this project, and helping to save Ohia!
