Restore the Fourth sprang up in the wake of the Snowden revelations, to take on the issue of unconstitutional mass government surveillance. For five years, our all-volunteer chapters have fought for the Fourth Amendment, filing amicus briefs, pushing for encrypted and anonymous technologies, and pressing Congress to pass vital surveillance reforms.
Your support will go to:
- Providing support to pass local surveillance oversight ordinances
- Funding our Litigation Working Group's work on amicus briefs
- Advocating more effectively in Congress and state legislatures for legal changes to restore your privacy
- Forming new coalitions for political action
