Hello everyone!!! The 2019 Chicago Polar Plunge is on Sunday, March 3rd. I am going to take my 3rd jump in Lake Michigan for Special Olympics Chicago! This cause is dear to my heart and as special education teacher this is just something pressed in my heart to do. So many diverse learners work their heart outs to train in Special Olympics and I want to help raise funds for this cause.
This will be my third Polar Plunge. I was first introduced by a dear friend of my Omaida Figueroa who inspired me to do this. Thanks to Team David many moons ago I was inspired and motivated to take the plunge the for the first time.
Please support my cause and donate what your heart desires. Anything will be truly appreciated. Let's surpass the $200 goal! Si se puede!!
Help me by supporting the 7,500+ special olympians who compete year-round in the city of Chicago. All funds raised will benefit the Special Olympics Chicago athletes, covering program costs such as transportation, sports equipment, team uniforms and food. Through your participation, people with intellectual disabilities have the opportunity to discover new strengths, abilities and success.
