Help us give 275 NYC public school students laptops to enhance their learning!
Jenna, James, Kirsten, Grant, and Ben are running the Bay Ridge Half Marathon in October (which is out of character for everyone except Jenna) on behalf of PowerMyLearning, and we'd love for you to help out!
What is PowerMyLearning, you ask? PowerMyLearning is an organization committed to ensuring that all children reach their fullest potential – mastering rigorous learning standards and owning their learning through the use of technology. By providing laptops/desktops to public school students throughout New York City, they help unlock a whole new world of learning for the young students they work with. PoweMyLearning boasts plenty of tangible results including clear case studies as well as increases in standardized tests scores in Math and Writing!

How can you help? We have worked with the PowerMyLearning team to identify a key area of need - charging cords. Many of their computer donations come with missing or broken chargers, rendering the laptops unuseable. A donation of just $10 dollars is enough to purchase a charging cord, making these laptops (currently sitting in their warehouse) usable for students!
Here's a breakdown of how powerful your donation can be:
$10: The Scholar. Donate a power cord to power a single K-12 student's learning.
$30-50: The Study Group. Enable up to five K-12 students recieve laptops.
$200: The Classroom. Give an entire K-12 classroom access to laptops and the learning platform provided by PowerMyLearning!
Donate your old tech! PowerMyLearning is always looking for old desktops and laptops that they can repurpose for classroom and student use. If you have any old laptops, reach out to one of us and we'll take care of the rest!
Thank you for coming to our page, we so appreciate your help and so do the students!
