My mom didn't raise no fool and that's why I'm about to try to run around in high heels to raise money to help women get a leg up.
If you're anything like my dad you're probably wondering why I'm doing this:
First and foremost I'm pretty sure I've got the shapley calves needed to pull this crazy stunt off. I mean, my gams are just begging to be highlighted in some heels.
Secondly, I think it is important to work toward positive change. I know, this isn't work. I'm not getting my hands dirty, rolling up my sleeves, and getting intimately involved in solving a problem. However, this is one way to help translate our every day jobs into meaningful change. By donating some of our hard-earned salary we can help women throughout Huntington find a job and maybe a whole lot more. That's pretty awesome.
Third - did you already forget these legs?
In all seriousness though; Dress for Success helps some of the most vulnerable in our population become self-sufficient and helps them find a better future. That's pretty awesome. So donate to my team specifically (don't betray me for some other high-heel wearing guy! If you do though, at least your donating!)
I don't have any shoes yet so I'll post a photo of my really ugly feet in some fabulous shoes as soon as I get a pair. But for now, just trust me, I've got some lovely calves. You don't want to miss this foolishnesss.

Our 2nd Annual Sips, Suds & Stilettos event is a fun and festive fall street party, with a twist! Enjoy delicious food, fabulous beer and wine pairings, as well as live music, while you prepare for the show of your life! What is that you ask? The Stiletto Stroll! The Stiletto Stroll isn't a stroll; it is an all-out race! Local men strap on high heels to raise awareness and funds for Dress for Success River Cities while competing for the coveted Stiletto Stroll trophy in a 50-yard dash! It is the best entertainment money can buy, and better yet, this event supports local women on their journey to self-sufficiency. Can't make it to the event, but still want to show your support? Consider donating to one of our brave Stiletto Strollers through this page! They are also competing to see who can generate the most donations as well! We will continue adding the Stroller's fundraising pages on this event page up until the day of the event, so check back often for new additions, and help them to help the women we serve!
