As many of you may recall, eye surgery knocked me out of participating in last year’s Boston Marathon. I am grateful to be back this year and to have the opportunity—and ability—to run my 11th Boston Marathon as a member of Spaulding’s Race for Rehab Team.
The Race for Rehab Team has transformed through the years, from a single-person (me!) show in 2005, to a team of 86 this year and more than 500 alumni from across the globe. I am happy to report—and in part thanks to your previous support—the Race for Rehab Team is now one of the largest, raising more than $650,000 annually.
In previous years, I have raised over $100,000 and hope to do the same again! Please help me reach my goal by making a donation today. Your generosity will directly impact Spaulding’s commitment to improvements in patient care, teaching and research initiatives that will advance rehabilitation medicine, something that most of us will experience during our lifetime.
Donations can be made online here or can be mailed to Spaulding’s Development Office: 1575 Cambridge Street, Cambridge MA 02138. Checks should be made payable to Spaulding Rehab Hospital, include my name in the memo line and be sent to the attention of Amanda Ravens.
Thank you for your support and I hope to see you on Marathon Monday!
