Sound the Alarm, raising funds.
Dear Family and Friends: As most of you know, I am the Disaster Program Manager for the East Central Bay of Michigan, American Red Cross. East Central Bay covers 10 Counties, Arenac, Bay, Genesee, Gladwin, Huron, Lapeer, Midland, Saginaw, Sanilac and Tusocla. We have been installing smoke alarms and providing home fire safety and preparedness information to families for the last four years. Our volunteers, partners and staff have been helping to make homes safer. This is truly a mission I believe in.
Please help East Central Bay raise funds for a good cause. My goal is $1500.00 to raise in our very own East Central Bay Territory.
The American Red Cross asks Michigan to help Sound the Alarm and join our nationwide effort to help reduce the number of deaths and injuries from home fires.I have personally joined our Sound the Alarm initiative to support smoke alarm installations in my community and am asking you to consider joining in and make an individual effort to help save lives by clicking on my personal page at (insert your Crowdriselink) and pledge your support. A gift of any size helps the Red Cross with disaster. For example, $15 will cover the cost of fire safety training and the installation of one smoke alarm to a family in need. Thank you very much for your support! Across the country, the Red Cross will Sound the Alarm from April 28th through May 12th, 2018 through a series of home fire safety and smoke alarm installation events in more than 100-high-risk communities; with volunteers and partners installing 100,000 free smoke alarms! The Red Cross responds to nearly 64,000 disasters a year, the majority of which are home fires. Home fires represent a significant threat to our communities. Together, we can Sound the Alarm about fire safety and help save lives. Please help us by volunteering to install smoke alarms, making a financial contribution or taking steps to protect your own family from home fires. We’re on a mission to make the Michigan Region safer! soundthealarm.org/Michigan.
