Hey Friends and Family, As you know, serving those that are less fortunate than us is near and dear to my heart. In February 2018, I once again get to embark on a journey to "Corner of Love" in San Ramon, Nicaragua, to serve carry out medical and dental clinics for the children and families of the northern villages. Corner of Love is a Seattle-based Christian non-profit organization dedicated to providing healthcare and clean water to villagers who live in the northern part of the country. Check out the trip details online: http://corneroflove.org/trips/love-one-another-mission-to-nicaragua-week-5-maple-valley-team/
Our team of volunteers will help provide basic medical and dental care and distribute all medicines needed free of charge. We’ll carry out four medical-dental clinics in rural, mountainous communities where families survive on less than $1 U.S. per day and most lack basic needs like clothing, potable water, and medicine. Each day we’ll pack our supplies, load them onto trucks and buses, and venture out to set up these mobile clinics that offer stations like height and weight, visual acuity, general medicine, dental care, pharmacy, clothing, prayer station, and more.
I am honored to be part of this amazing trip and am asking you to support me and the people of Nicaragua. You can help in two ways. 1) You can pray for the team, the mission and the people of Nicaragua 2) Second, you can provide financial support to help pay for medicine and supplies.
I'm hoping to raise $2000 by January 31, 2018. That covers several med-pack that include all the needed medicines to meets the medical needs of up to 600 impoverished Nicaraguans. Note that anything you give is a 100% tax deductible donation (TIN: 36-4612230).
