The Stepping Strong Center at the Brigham is funding important research and innovation in trauma care, improving lives of trauma victims and injured military heros. Stepping Strong was started by our dear friends Audrey and Steven Reny, after their daughter, Gillian who was then 18 years old was injured during the marathon bombings. Seventeen minutes after the explosion, Gillian was in surgery at the Brigham where doctors and nurses saved her life and legs. Since that fateful day nearly 5 years ago, Gillian has received the best care and exceeded the doctors' original expectations. The Stepping Strong Center is helping make possible further innovations in trauma care and making recoveries and improved health outcomes possible for others in Boston, the US and around the globe. We hope that you will help too by supporting the Stepping Strong Center. Thank you!!!
