Project Woman's Chrysalis Transitional Housing Program assists survivors as they transition from the emergency shelter to obtain permanent and safe housing, employment and education in order to end the cycle of violence. Chrysalis provides housing to survivors who would otherwise face the additional trauma of becoming homeless or return to the abusive home. Chrysalis provides a safe and recovery-focused environment that includes intensive supportive services designed to increase survivors' safety, increase self-sufficiency, and to facilitate trauma recovery. Chrysalis includes case management, transportation assistance, advocacy, support groups and empowerment education.
