I didn't need to run for charity this year, but I wanted to give something back. I'm excited and honored to be running the Boston Marathon again this year in support of the TB12 Foundation.
Exercising and competing in races has had such a positive impact in my life, both for my physical and mental health. I'm supportive of any organization that gives athletes the help and support they need to succeed, especially when they might not be able to get that support otherwise.
Also, as I get older, I'm always looking for ways to train smarter, not harder - I've already incorporated much more stretching, rolling, and massage into my routine over the past year, a few key tenets of the TB12 Method.
Finally, I'm a huge New England Patriots fan. Tom is an inspiration, and a genuinely nice guy when you meet him is person. Who wouldn't want to help support his Foundation?
Please consider supporting this incredible charity! As an extra incentive - every $10 you donate will get you an entry into a giveaway for a pair of tickets (my Putnam Club seats in Club 32) to a 2019 Patriots home game of your choice (except for the home opener). I'll draw the winner after I cross the finish line on April 15th.
Thank you - Colin
The TB12 Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to maximizing the health, well-being, and athletic potential of elite young American amateur athletes by providing free access to the best available post-injury rehabilitation and performance enhancement services.
We achieve our mission through one-on-one sessions with promising young athletes who are selected for participation in our program, and by conducting educational events with groups of high-potential athletes from schools that have limited access to resources.
Your tax-deductible donation helps young athletes achieve excellence. Donations fund deserving athletes’ education, rehabilitation, and performance enhancement services.
