For a fourth consecutive year, I have been selected to represent an amazing organization on Marathon Monday. I can’t thank the TB12 Foundation enough for giving me an opportunity to run my 7th Boston Marathon and be a member of TB12’s first ever marathon team. It is truly an honor to represent TB12 over the next 5 months.
It's hard to believe that the 2019 Boston Marathon will be my 7th!!! I remember thinking how cool it would be to run Boston once and here I am again.
Most of my childhood was spent on athletic fields. Sports was always my outlet. My parents would truck me around from baseball, to soccer, to basketball, to ice skating as a child. I had many great coaches and mentors along the way, but training back then wasn't as much of a priority as it is today. There wasn't a focus on the food we put into our bodies, the amount of sleep we got each night, and the importance of staying hydrated. I want to make sure that the young athletes of today have the chance to realize their full athletic potential.
I hope to help spread the word of the TB12 Foundation's mission to maximize the health, well-being, and athletic potential of young American amateur athletes by providing free access to the best available post-injury rehabilitation and performance enhancement services.
Over the last three years, with your support, I have raised $39,395. This year, I have set a lofty fundraising goal of $15,000. I have little doubt that I will be able to reach my goal due to the outpouring of generosity I've received from family, friends, collegues and even strangers over the last three years.
I hope you follow along with my journey this year. Training in the cold New England winter will be worth it when I finally have the chance to cross the historic Boston Marathon finish line once again on April 15, 2019!
I have some exciting fundraising ideas so hopefully, you will be part of my 2019 journey!!
As the greatest quarterback in NFL history, Tom Brady says, ”Let’s Goooooooooooo!!!”
Thanks again for your continued support.

The TB12 Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to maximizing the health, well-being, and athletic potential of elite young American amateur athletes by providing free access to the best available post-injury rehabilitation and performance enhancement services.
We achieve our mission through one-on-one sessions with promising young athletes who are selected for participation in our program, and by conducting educational events with groups of high-potential athletes from schools that have limited access to resources.
Your tax-deductible donation helps young athletes achieve excellence. Donations fund deserving athletes’ education, rehabilitation, and performance enhancement services.
