Hi! I am the assistant principal for a local public elementary school in Northern California. We serve 460 students from grades Preschool to 5. Our Title One school has been serving students since 1940. 70.70% of our student population is socio-economically disadvantaged with 36.90% of our student body actively learning English. Our amazing students are working hard each day with the help of a dedicated, talented staff to excel in all curricular areas and to grow into amazing, kind, compassionate human beings who will be leaders in the 21st Century. Our teachers are dedicated to teaching ecology, water conservation, healthy habits, food to table, botany, and other sciences that affect farming and sustaining our planet. We are eager to add a hands-on element to student learning by building a Teaching Garden on campus. Your help will allow us to make this a possibility and will provide an opportunity for not just our students, but their families, to experience the joy and rewards of gardening. Thank you for your generous donation.
