I am excited to report that I have been selected to run in the 123rd Boston Marathon as part of Team Brookline (www.teambrookline.org). This has been a dream of mine since taking on running 3 years ago to combat health issues, but I didn't think it would be a dream realized this soon.
At the dawn of my running, I was driven by my need to prove to myself that I can do what I put my mind to. Years in, it's more than just a hobby--it's an opportunity to use it as a vehicle to do good for others.
I am also thrilled to be running for The Brookline Education Foundation, a nonprofit organization committed to preserving Brookline’s devotion to excellence in public education. By running for BEF, I am raising funds to support innovative teaching, administrative leadership, professional development, and community participation in the Brookline's schools.
Please consider supporting my endeavor.
