On August 11th, 2018 I will hopefully be playing in my second game for BvB Dallas.
BvB Dallas is a young-professional organization that hosts a powder-puff football game for a day of fun, fellowship, philanthropy and enjoyment as a way of raising money for Alzheimer’s research and awareness. Founded by sisters whose father was afflicted by Alzheimer’s, BvB is a personal way for young professionals across the country to raise awareness, funds and support to end Alzheimer's.
I joined this amazing organization last year simply to meet new people and keep active during the summer. What I didn't realize at the time was how big of an impact this organization would have on my life. For 12 weeks, myself and hundreds of young professionals in the DFW Metroplex worked tirelessly to raise money to END Alzheimer's.
After an amazing summer, I am back for my second year as a VET and I am pumped to raise money and fight for the cause once again. This year, I am dedicating my summer to playing in honor of Debbie Thompson and in memory of my Great Uncle Bob. Please donate to this cause so we can TACKLE ALZHEIMER'S FOREVER!
GAME DAY: The 11th Annual BvB Dallas Powder-Puff Football Game will be held at the Cotton Bowl at Fair Park on Saturday, August 11th. Kick-Off will be held at 7:30pm and the after-party will be held on the front steps of the stadium immediately following the game. We hope to see you there!
Your $25 donation or more to BvB Dallas gains your entrance to the game and after-party. There are no physical tickets. All donors' names will be held at will-call on Game Day at the stadium.
