Hi Everyone – I am running the Chicago Marathon this year to raise money for the Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation in honor of my brother Sal. For those of you who didn’t know Sal, he was an indelible character. He was the youngest and most handsome Oberts brother. He was bold, charming, and charismatic. Sal was the proverbial "life of the party."
Unfortunately in 2017, his life was tragically shortened due to the relentless disease of addiction. In honor of his life, my mission is to raise critical funds to help those impacted by addiction. Currently, over 20 million Americans suffer from addiction related disorders. My goal is to raise $5,000 to provide assistance to those seeking recovery. Please join us in being a force of healing and hope for those in need!
