On Sunday, October 21st, I am participating in the annual Hope Walks event at Newton-Wellesley Hospital for the 3rd year. Proceeds raised by Hope Walks benefit cancer patients and their families by supporting the Integrative Support Services offered at the Vernon Cancer Center. These life-enhancing services help reduce symptoms, improve quality of life, and provide support during/after treatment. I continue to use these services in my own treatment, and am excited to participate in Hope Walks again to raise money for them.
Hope Walks is a 3.3 mile neighborhood walk, beginning and ending at Newton Wellesley Hospital. Funds raised through this annual event give cancer patients access to life-saving treatments and highly individualized, compassionate care that treats every component of a patient’s wellbeing: physical, emotional and more.
We are excited to participate in the Hope Walks fundraiser and to send a strong message of HOPE to all those touched by cancer.
Please consider joining Team Phoenix and walking with me, or donating to our page. Thank you for your support!
