As many of you know I have kept a beard year round now, but continuing to let it grow all month long for this ...
In honor of my father in-law on the month of his 81st birthday!
Twenty+ years ago, my father in-law was diagnosed with prostate cancer. Through treatment and his strong faith, he has been able to continue living and fighting. It is through seeing his courage that I commit myself to not shave throughout the month of November to raise money and awareness for prostate cancer. I encourage you to donate and join the fight.
Also, In memory of my uncle.
In December of 2013, my uncle sadly lost his battle with cancer. He also fought courageously for many years. He bravely faced the adversity of the disease head on even to the point of having to surrender his leg as part of the fight.
Together, we are making a difference!
This year, hundreds of thousands of people will hear the words "You have cancer," and there's a good chance that some of them will be people we know and love. I have chosen to fight back against this disease and help make a difference by supporting the American Cancer Society’s mission to eliminate cancer as a major health problem by preventing cancer, saving lives, and diminishing suffering from cancer, through research, education, advocacy, and service
Please help me!
I hope you will support my effort and make a donation in support of this cause. If you cannot donate, please share with those that might be willing to donate.
