We saw this day coming a while ago, didn’t we? As our parking challenges increased and
class scheduling became more complicated, it became clearer every year that we would need a
new danceability home. Who knew it would happen this quickly?
Well, as you might have heard, we’ve done it! We signed a lease on a new home and it is
close to our current studio!
You are going to love it! We’ll be able to add a third dance studio, have a much more
comfortable waiting area, better meeting spaces - and we have our own parking lot! The building
is at 2365 George Urban Boulevard, near Dick Road, and was once home to Elaine’s Floral
Finding our new home was just the first step. Now we have to build the walls, run the
electricity, lay the floors, hang the mirrors, and much, much more. When we launched The Next
Step! Campaign at our May performances wed said we would be in touch soon for your help.
Well, here we are!
And we do need your help. To cover the cost of the build-out, equipment, and other
expenses we set a campaign goal of $300,000. We’ve already raised more than $60,000 and we
hope to make a couple of big gift announcements in the coming days and weeks. Every member
of your board of directors, and a few past members too, has made a pledge to the campaign. But
we need everyone’s help to ensure that we will reach our goal. We need you!
Your gift or pledge - when pooled with those of other parents, families and friends - will
make a difference, no matter the amount. To make it as easy for you as we can, you can choose
to make your gift by cash or credit card or - if you’d like - you can make a pledge now and pay it
off over the next one to three years. Whatever works best for you! To start, please complete and
return the pledge card at the bottom of the enclosed Campaign Guide at your best convenience.
If you have any questions about our new site, The Next Step! campaign, or how you can
help - please contact us anytime. Thank you!
