We have known this day was coming for a while! Our parking challenges were increasing, our class schedule was becoming more complicated, and there were too many people on our waiting list. But wow! The day is now!
Our new studio, serving the special needs community, is being built out at 2365 George Urban Boulevard near Dick Road (what was once Elaine’s Floral Shoppe) – so we are still in our old neighborhood, convenient for our families and dancers.
We have signed a lease and are beginning the work to transform the big empty space into three studios (instead of two), a much more comfortable waiting area for our families, meeting spaces, and a sensory area. And there is plenty of parking!
We have to build the walls, run the electricity, lay the dance floors, hang the mirrors – and so much more! But it will all be worth it for our dancers, volunteers, and families.
We gave a sneak peak of our plans at our amazing Performances in May. And now we ask you to join us in “The Next Step! Campaign” to raise money for all the expenses associated with our new home for danceability.
We have a Campaign goal of $300,000. All of our Board Members have made the first contributions and some other generous donations have been committed as well. But, we need everyone’s help to ensure that we can provide an amazing dance experience for years to come.
You may make a donation here – or if you would prefer to pledge over 1 - 3 years, contact our studio at 716-651-0094.
Danceability is an individualized dance, fitness, and movement program serving the special needs community. Our studio is led by qualified staff and dedicated volunteers who create a nurturing environment that empowers our students to flourish and grow while promoting a healthy lifestyle… and we have a little fun along the way.
