My life has been forever changed by the 745 days that I could call myself NOAH's US2 volunteer. It was in these two years that I claimed my voice, that I discerned how God was calling me into ministry, and relationships were built with friends who trusted me in ways beyond words. There is not a day that goes by that I don't think about and miss my time with NOAH. For all of the crazy stories, the Motown jam sessions, the conversations had on the steps, the Cheez-its eaten during casework sessions, the tears and the many laughs, I am grateful.
Will you help me in raising $1 for each day that I served with NOAH? Need more info about NOAH? Check out the description of the program below or you know just ask me!
Grace and Peace,

THE NOAH Project's mission is to empower low-income and homeless Detroiters to achieve stability by being a first step to self-sufficiency.
The NOAH Project operates a Community Center in downtown Detroit for people living on the streets. Offering lunch four days a week, one-on-one social services, physical health counseling, empowerment-based programming, and emergency needs, we strive to build a family support system for those who come to us. We believe that change comes through positive, trusting relationships. At NOAH, we support individuals by developing trusting relationships founded upon acceptance — acceptance of who that person is. When acceptance is combined with compassion and honesty, it builds trust. By creating an environment founded on trusting relationships, we develop a family for people so they have the support necessary to change and grow.
AND IT ALL STARTS WITH A SIMPLE MEAL, WHICH YOUR DONATION CAN PROVIDE!
