Each March, since 2013, Tome Student Literacy Society has hosted an all day conference just for students in grades 3-12. We bring in authors, artists, and speakers from across the country to teach students about reading, writing, technology, drawing, music, magic, ecology, outer space, story-telling and more! Students attend break-out sessions of their choosing throughout the day. They also attend an awards ceremony where they are celebrated for participating in a diverse menu of digital competitions throughout the school year.
Each year we see more and more students coming to TomeCon, but we are running out of space and the cost of putting on the conference for our small, grass-roots nonprofit is growing each year as the crowds grow.
We need donors to help us keep the ticket cost low for schools and students so that we can keep growing and make space for even more kids!
