My wife, April, our and three children have very giving hearts, which inspires me to be the best version of myself. I have watched family, friends, and even friends of friends suffer from cancer and I am fed up with feeling unable to help.
April's grandmother and my dad were both lost to cancer related issues, which has been the main driving force in my family’s determination to help those afflicted with this disease. I also ride for the many people I know that are personally affected.
Lastly, I am riding in honor and remembrance of Carol and Rosie. Carol and Rosie both suffered from lung cancer. I was moved by their stories and struggles as told to me by their daughters, who are not only close friends of mine but also BMS colleagues.
What truly inspires me are the success stories. I hope for a large difference; a cure. I hope that our act of giving as an individual, as a riding team, and as a company inspires others to contribute in some way.
My message to cancer
We Won't Stop in our search for a cure and We Won't Stop in our fight to help patients and those burdened from cancer.
