This year marks the 10th anniversary of Bras for a Cause an event I discovered shortly after my diagnosis in 2014. I love BFAC because I am able to combine two of my passions- creativity and cancer awareness. This will be my 4th year walking in the survivor art bra show and my 5th year making art bras (I made one in 2014 but was too weak & sick to be in the show). In addition to making my own bra, this year I also have made one for my friend Sabrina who will be walking for the first time this year. I have made many friends through BFAC & sadly have lost some, but the night of the show we can feel they are all there with us. Although participating in BFAC can be emotional, time consuming and at times stressful (getting up in front of hundreds of people!) I am so grateful to be a part of this amazing event & appreciate your support!
