"If I needed a lawyer, could I afford to hire myself?" I heard this challenge vocalized at a bar association some time ago, and it struck home with me. Hiring an attorney is an expensive proposition, and often those who need an attorney the most are those who can least afford one. ABLE, LAWO, and the TBA Pro Bono Legal Services Program work in our community to help provide needed legal representation to those who can least afford it. I am supporting them this year in their combined Justice for All Campaign and I hope that you will consider doing so too.
