We are excited for this great event in memory of the families and patients affected by Cerebral Cavernous Malformations (CCMs). Our research is focused on studying the molecular, genetic and cellular mechanism that regulates the brain vasculature in health and disease. Our research is using mouse and zebrafish genetics, cell biology and bioinformatics tools to increase our understanding of the biological components of CCMs. The ultimate goal of our research is to provide non-invasive, safe, and effective therapies to CCMs. From right to left; Riya Verma, Preston Hale, Tiffany Shamas, Sara McCurdy, Miguel A.
