Vada is hoping to raise $100 to support the L3 Foundation. One of her dance instructors lost her son, Landon, at 4 years old to a rare form of childhood cancer, and Vada's dance studio has been supporting cancer research in his memory. This is her first ever fundraiser and she's very excited. Here is some information about the cause from our dance studio. Thank you for your support!
"Four years ago, a studio family lost their son Landon to a rare form of childhood cancer. Landon fought a courageous fight, one that left a lasting impression on those who watched him fight. Before he died, his dad asked if there was anything he wanted his dad to do. Landon responded with, "Dad just do something, so other kids don't have to go through this!" That became our motto and our steadfast goal. In a few short years, the L3 Foundation (Live, Love, Landon) has raised over $300,000. L3 has already donated over $ 200,000 to cancer research doctors here in Houston. When the foundation was established, the board members decided that this would be a kid-based foundation, with the adults serving as mentors to help guide and empower the kids to take on the message to #DoSomething."
