When Change Comes: A Movement forward is a powerful dance musical that asks one simple question:
Can the gift of being “seen” without judgement break the cycle of intolerance and fear in modern society?
We believe it can.
When Change Comes (formerly STANDARD TIME) transports audiences through a century of music, movement, and human connection in the shadow of our nation's most defining moments.
Three love stories.
Three chances to make a change.
Launching Fall 2018:
September 7th & 8th: Madison Theater @ Molloy College - Rockville Centre, NY
September 13th - 16th: NY Live Arts New York, NY
September 20th - 30th: Suzanne Roberts Theatre, Philadelphia PA
Pay It Forward
We believe that students will be the leaders of change with their energy, their open minds, and their big hearts. Here’s the thing: students can’t afford a $55 theater ticket. But they CAN afford a $10 ticket. So here's our idea...
We’re offering unlimited $10 student tickets.
In order to keep student prices that low, we need help covering production costs. This is how you can help.
Would you be a superhero of change by sponsoring that difference in ticket prices for one student, ten students, or for one-hundred students?
Do you know three other superheroes that would do the same?
To create a ripple of change, write “Pay It Forward” in the comment section of your gift. We’ll assign it directly to students and let them know exactly who gave them this incredible opportunity.
Small acts of kindness can lead to a tidal wave of change...
How you can help:
$45 - Sponsor 1 student ticket
$450 - Sponsor 10 student tickets - How many acts of kindess can 10 young people commit? Let's find out.
$4500 - Sponsor 100 student tickets
$15,000 - Sponsor a Show - Sponsor a single performance, giving hundreds of young people the experience of When Change Comes, empowering them to create change in their community.
*All sponsorships and donations are fully tax deductible as Mark Stuart Dance Theatre is a 501c3 public charity.
