William (Bill) F. Bruso Jr. was a former Maine State Trooper. He was one of the first K9 Troopers, along with his beloved K9 partner Bronson. Being a Trooper meant the world to Bill and he treasured this time. Bill passed away on October 30, 2018. In honor of his life and passion for K9 law enforcement programs this fundraiser was created. In lieu of flowers his family requests donations be made in his memory so that every K9 officer receives a much needed bulletproof vest. For each $950 raised, one bullet and stab protective vest will be donated to a law enforcement K9 in need and embroidered with the sentiment "In Honor of William F. Bruso, Jr".
