Create a Mentoring Culture in Your Congregation
“How can we reach more women?” The Women’s Leadership Institute has spent the last two years gathering information, organizing, and praying in order to answer the core of this very question.
With the formation of the Intergenerational Mentoring Task Force, WLI is taking the first step to reaching more women and supporting them as leaders. The result is the Intergenerational Mentoring Program, Growing Together: Cultivating a Mentoring Culture in your Church, which will be available Spring of 2020.
Participants of the program will:
- Identify and discuss mentoring qualities in themselves and others
- Practice and apply mentoring skills
- Evaluate opportunities to create a mentoring culture in one’s own work or ministry
The program will include online resources such as a facilitator’s manual, video instruction, and participants guide that will be available to congregations to use as a Bible study series, in life groups, or in retreat ministry - making the workshop accessible all over the country.
We need your help to reach our $10,000 goal for the taping, design, program development and facilitator training.
Watch our website and newsletter in the coming months for more information and continue to pray for WLI and our continuing ministry. Thank you for your support!
