Moving Ethos believes crowdfunding diversifies the community of patrons by offering a platform for people of all economic backgrounds to play a role in the art that gets presented in Sarasota. Year after year, Moving Ethos has been recognized for their deeply emotional performances that greatly impact their audiences. Their work has been described as, "psychological dance theater" by Carrie Seidman of the Sarasota Herald Tribune, and takes audience members on a memorable, theatrical ride.
Following the sold out performances of To Have and Uphold in Urbanite’s previous season, Moving Ethos Dance is back with a brand new work, directed by Leah Verier-Dunn. and back again portrays the electric nature of relationships. The piece highlights the patterns that develop in our choices and the effect those choices play on our love stories.
This isn’t any old tale about love, and back again is pulsing with complexity. It follows the evolution of each person’s story; their joy and heartache, passion and tension, loss and hope. The performers dissect all concepts of love and prove, no matter the difficulty, that love is worth fighting for. Join Moving Ethos Dance for another fully charged, visceral dance experience.
