Dear Friend of CALBO,
As California Code Officials, we are all horrified by the loss to our communities’ due to the October wildfires throughout our state. As public servants, we all are pained by the loss of life, property and land due to Mother Nature and we are looking for ways to help. CALBO has activated our statewide Mutual-Aid program the CALBO Call-Out, but it’s not feasible for us all to assist with the assessments and repairs onsite.
How can you help? CALBO is asking you to give one dollar. A single dollar. CALBO Board Members and Instructors will be asking you at local chapter meetings and at CALBO’s Education Week in Ontario to donate a single dollar to the CALBO 1-to-1 campaign. You can also donate here. For each dollar you donate, CALBO will match your donation. Our goal is to raise $10,000 and donate it in the name of local California Building Departments to the California Wildfire Relief Fund of the American Red Cross.
If every attendee at Education Week Ontario and monthly chapter meeting gave $1.00, CALBO will surpass its goal to donate $10,000 in the name of local California Building Departments. We will not ask for more money, or collect your email to bombard your inbox. We are just asking you to hand a dollar over when asked, one time, to be match by CALBO and donated to the California Wildfire Relief Fund of the American Red Cross.
In times of crisis, Californians come together. That’s what unites us as the golden state. Thank you for supporting CALBO’s 1-to-1 Campaign.
